Our Client are a leading Marketing & Media Company who are part of a large Media Group.
Our Clients portfolio of consumer websites has expanded dynamically covering motoring,insurance, finance, classifieds, horoscopes, surveys and competitions.
AFFILIATE MARKETING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
During this period we have actively gained the trust of our customer base and can currently offer several of
the most responsive consumer databases on the market.
The Role
One of the key marketing strategies of our Client is to gain new website
members through partnerships with other websites and companies.
The role involves:
· Maintaining and improving existing relationships (30-35% of the role)
· Dealing with and maximising the relationships with affiliate networks (5% of role)
·Identifying potential new partners, contacting them, selling the idea to them,getting the contract signed and seeing the agreement through to completion (50-55% of role)
·Co-ordinating and writing specifications for the design of new emails and adverts,and getting new and existing partners to promote them (10% of role)
A typical week will involve making telephone calls, key client meetings and internal
discussions with the marketing, design and sales teams.
The Person
·Must understand the concept of affiliate/partnership marketing and be able to put itinto practice.
·Comfortable with cold calling and establishing contact with decision makers
·Able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
·Able to utilise sales skills in a marketing environment
·Experience of using MS Office on a daily basis and confident in using Outlook, Wordand Excel at an intermediate level
·Have an excellent command of English, both written and verbally
·Self motivated
·Ability to make things happen
·Not afraid of a challenge
