My client is an International blue chip organisation, operating as the leading player in its market.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this organisation as a Transport Manager.
Reporting in to the site operations manager the successful applicant will be responsible for the Transport Supervisor and a team of drivers.
The scope of the role will be as follows:
Employee Relations
Route Planning Organisation and Employee Administration
Vehicle Administration
Servicing, Productivity and Efficiency of vehicles
KPI’s Productivity and finance
Quality Control
Health and Safety
The successful applicant will have the following experience:
Minimum 3 years heavy goods driving experience
2 years experience in a transport supervisory/management role
Route Planning
Full working knowledge and understanding of Transport Legislation
Departmental Budget Accountability
ISO 9001/2000 quality systems
IT Microsoft packages - Word and Excel
Qualifications
Holder of CPC National
Holder of heavy goods C&E License
