Hours: 37.5 per week over 5 days (Monday – Friday)
The Sunshine Day Nursery at the Northern General Hospital and Royal Hallamshire Hospital is open from 6.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and staff will work a shift system within these hours.
We require a suitably qualified individual to work as a Nursery Nurse to provide high quality childcare for children attending the Day Nursery and Holiday Club. The successful applicant will promote a safe and caring environment to enable the children to grow and develop within their own potential.
The successful applicant must possess an N.N.E.B qualification (or equivalent) and have excellent communication skills and experience of working within a day care setting.
The job role involves assisting in the organisation and preparation of resources in the nursery, assist in the preparation of children’s work for display, setting up activities and role play situations for the children and maintaining good relationships with parents.
Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be required to complete a CRB disclosure application (police check).
