Our client is currently requiring two temporary Infrastructure Co-ordinators, one initially for 6 weeks and the other initially for three months. In addition due to the short-term nature of the role, we do require someone who has specific facilities management experience, knowledge of CDM regulations, experience of managing contractors, dealing with dilapidation of facilities etc.
The posts will be based from our Rotherham offices, although the roles cover the South Yorkshire area. The annual salary for the role is £19,779, working 37 hours per week.
Additional background in relation to the Skills / Experience Required:
We require two individual’s who are numerate and literate, with Facilities Management experience or background who are computer literate, able to use databases and spreadsheets, who can write works specifications clearly, who have good interpersonal and communications skills, good organisational skills, who are capable of organising planning and managing projects effectively. They must be capable of working on their own without excessive supervision, have the ability to meet tight work deadlines, and are able to competently analyse information and provide lucid reports. Ability to assist with performance management of contractors and problem solving skills, appropriate to the scope of works they will be exposed to are also essential.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the legal requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act - preferred
- Knowledge of current legislation relating to property maintenance, CDM regulations and Health and Safety - preferred
- A general management qualification – preferred
Experience
- 2 years experience in a management role – essential
- Experience of providing on-street infrastructure – preferred
- Experience of providing facilities management support - preferred
- Experience of managing contracts – essential
