An opportunity has arisen for a Rent Offier to work within a local authority environment within Rotherham.
The main pupose of the post is to deliver a customer focused service designed around the needs of the individual. This will involve managing a portfolio of rent arrears cases in a preventative way, to maximise income for the Service.
The post holder will be the main point of contact for customers and will be expected to give a wide range of advice to tenants on matters such as welfare benefits, debt prevention and to be able to negotiate the settlements of debts owed to the Council.
You should have experience of working with customers within a local authority setting and experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
