SALARY AND BENEFITS: c£30,000- c£40,000 + Benefits

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, finance, mathematics or similar
- Experience in industrial marketing & durable goods marketing assignments
- Experience of leading complex growth programs such as new product development
- Thorough understanding of industrial distribution channels
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills & strong analytical skills
- The ability to work independently without supervision
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office software is essential
- Willingness to travel is important (regular international travel)
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- General knowledge of business and competition
- Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Mining or Construction markets
ROLE INFORMATION:
Contribute to sales and profit growth through the development and execution of strategic growth programs, including new sales and marketing tactics and new selling programs, and will provide key input for the development of strategic business plans.
- Work closely with commercial teams and Market Strategy Managers (MSMs) to identify growth opportunities
- Work with the commercial team and Marketing Analyst to develop improved understanding of end users, identify new product development opportunities, support geographic expansion & penetration of new markets, & lead the development & customisation of literature & training aids to support staff
- Support marketing initiatives across other market sectors
- Work with sales and marketing teams to perform market research by travelling to field locations to understand customer needs, buying patterns, competitor activity, etc
- Assist in the development of annual strategic plans at Group, BU & market sector levels & work with MSMs to prepare monthly reports
