Our client is a conference and catering business with a difference! The business operates a non for profit scheme and profit is reinvested for the social purpose; back in the business or back into the local community. The site close to Sheffield City Centre has 10 conference rooms and a maximum capacity of 180.
The successful candidate will be in charge of co-ordinating all conferences and running the suite of meeting rooms. Liaising with the catering team to make sure they provide the correct refreshments and orders both customers at the venue and also customers who use the catering service for buffets and corporate events. Duties also include scheduling daily deliveries, collection, maintenance of the vans, and monitoring customer orders.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar supervisory / coordinator role. Industry background in catering and conferences is also desirable. We are looking for a candidate who is very professional, with exceptional levels of customer care and a naturally courteous, enthusiastic manner. The ability to be organised, proactive and flexible is equally important.
