Role: To provide administrative support to the sales team. Assist in the development of the business by identifying new opportunities and create awareness of company product and solutions within the industry.
Responsibilities
Is responsible for the processing and input of sales orders received via phone, fax and e-mail, supplying customers with order confirmation where necessary.
Responsible for liasing with the accounts department in connection with invoicing procedures and with the warehouse for dispatch to customers.
Responsible for liasing with internal suppliers regarding delivery dates.
Responsible for furnishing price quotations, keeping sales records, supplying product information, both internally and to customers.
Responsible for dealing with difficult customers or more complex orders and with non-routine enquiries, ensuring customer enquiries are promptly resolved.
To propose customer returns and action required credit notes associated with these returns.
Ensures that Company Health and Safety procedures and regulations are adhered to and maintained are aware of their responsibilities.
Complies with all company Environmental and Waste Policies and procedures.
Achieves budgeted targets.
Improved communication with external and internal customers.
Improved company performance.
Has reasonable product knowledge from a sales or technical background.
Minimum education at secondary school level.
May have relevant technical qualifications.
Computer literate including Microsoft Office, MFG Pro and Lotus Notes.
