My client is a large prestigious manufacturing company based in Doncaster. Due to expansion they require an Assistant Operations Accountant to work alongside the Operations Accountant. Duties will include maintaining and developing cost rate drivers, performance reporting, maintaining accurate stock records, forecasting and budgeting for the operating unit, identifying risk opportunities and involvement with lean implementation. The ideal candidate will be either a qualified accountant or actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA, have previous experience of producing management accounts and worked on a standard costing system.
