This is a challenging and exciting role within in a fast changing public sector organisation, boasting a turnover of approximately £40m.
You will primarily be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the financial systems and finance department, in particular ensuring robust and appropriate accounting systems and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
You will also oversee the accounts process and ensure the production of monthly and annual accounts, budgets and forecasts are produced on an accurate and timely basis.
You will possess an appropriate accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) and have at least five years experience, or equivalent, of similar responsibilities in a complex organisation, ideally public sector.
