A great opportunity for an ambitious content developer to harness their creative flair and imagination as part of a progressive e-learning provider.
Ufi has helped millions of people gain new skills through learndirect, exploiting the power of e-learning. This is an exciting phase in our development and we’re now looking for a talented individual to develop a wide range of engaging, multi-media, site content. The emphasis here is on lending a creative edge to a solid content development role - with the opportunity to input into the development of innovative online products and marketing mechanisms while supporting the wider web team.
Specific duties will also include:
Formatting and laying out pre-written content
Reviewing and proofing web pages
Uploading and publishing content through the site’s cms
Sourcing, editing and manipulating imagery
Updating meta data and tagging content for external online channels.
As well as day-to-day duties we’ll also give you the opportunity to offer your input into the ongoing development of the website and contribute to internal client liaison and team development.
An enthusiastic, self-starter with a strong interest in the internet, web development and digital communication, you’ll have a strong knowledge of HTML, working knowledge of Dreamweaver (or similar) and PhotoShop (or similar) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge or experience of marketing, flash development skills and other web programming languages i.e. (java, ajax) would be beneficial but not essential.
