Client in Chesterfield seeks Payroll Officer. This is a permanent role.
The role will include:-
• Sole responsibility for a monthly payroll of 250 employees including 70 casual workers;
• Processing Overtime hours/casual hours and monitoring time and attendance information;
• Processing new starter and leaver information;
• Accessing the Inland Revenue website for tax codings etc;
• Preparation and dispatch of P45’s and creating P11D information;
• Advising Managers on leave pay;
• Administering SMP, SSP and other statutory payments;
• Preparation and dispatching of employment contracts;
• Various administrative tasks – photocopying, filing and franking mail.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the above tasks and should be enthusiastic, conscientious and a good team player.
