Job Description

Patternmaker Required ! A wonderful opportunity has arisen within a Sheffield/ Rotherham based manufacturing company for an apprentice trained – Patternmaker. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits which make this role highly attractive.The salary range is £20,000 to £28,000 depending on level of experience, with 28 days holiday increasing to 33 days per year. Working in the Product Development Team duties include the full ownership of Patternmaking jobs. Materials such as polystyrene model board and wood are used depending on the requirements of the various casting processes in operation. The latest technologies, such as 5-axis CNC machining, have been developed to achieve a fast turn-around required of all projects. Candidates must have an excellent Patternmaking background, CNC including 5-axis skills would be an advantage but not essential as full training can be provided. The package depends on the level of expertise the applicant brings with them, a salary range of £20,000 to £28,000 28 days holiday increasing by 1 per year up to 33 days.
