Web Designer
£20,000 - £25,000
The Role…
Our client is looking for a talented, creative Web Designer to join their team of highly skilled staff. If you have commercial experience in designing and building websites to the highest standards, creative flair, a passion for design then this is the role for you! As a member of the design team, you will be expected to produce original designs for current and potential clients. You would also be responsible for templates from scratch and carrying out major and minor amends using semantic XHTML/CSS to W3C standards. You will be required to work enthusiastically with both in-house and 3rd party designs.
The Successful Candidate…
Will have expert XHTML/CSS, experience of building web sites to W3C standards, practical knowledge of implementing accessible, user-centred websites, innovative, pro-active approach to meeting and helping (re)define a design brief and meeting the constraints of cost, time and client requirements. You will also have an in depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices, advanced Photoshop and (most importantly) raw design talent! Any knowledge of server side scripting language would be a distinct advantage as would Flash/Actionscript or JavaScript.
