Job Details
This market leader is the worlds largest independently owned manufacturer which specilises in steel forgings and steel castings. This company has been established for over 200 years and has produced some of the largest bespoke engineered products in the world.
This is a varied role on offer where you will be maintaining and servicing a range of power tools, carrying out vibration (HAVS) tests to make sure it complies with legal regulations for the steel industry. You will be expected to keep records of all data on their database and excel spreadsheets.
Role:
* Mechanical fitting/maintenance/fault finding
* Maintenance and Fault Finding on a range of power tools such as grinders
* liaising with suppliers
* Acting as a middle man between shop floor and management
The Candidate:
* Good mechanical background with basic electrical skills
* Stron knowledge and background in a heavy / steel industry
* Experience of report writing, along with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Confident and able to liaise with suppliers and middle management
