Our client, based in the S25 area of Sheffield is currently recruiting for a Service/ Technical Manager to work and average of 45 hours a week but will be expected to works some weekends on a call out basis and may have to work away on occasion. The pay rate is negotiable depending on experience and a car allowence. This is a 13 week temporary to permanent position.
The successful candidate must have a solid and proven background within the heating and plumbing or associated trades and must be able to provide evidence of certified qualifications including CCN1, CENI, CKR1, DAHI, HTR1, MET1 and WAT1 or equivalent .
You will be required to run a busy service department and plan the works and engineers for each project. Liasing with clients, customers and merchants on a daily basis so good communication, management, organisational and administrative skills are a must. A background is sales would be an advantage but training on house procedures and computer sytems will be given on commencement of assignment.
Applicant must have a flexible attitude to working days, hours and be prepared to work away from home on occation.
