An opportunity has arisen with this public services organisation to join them on temporary basis in an administrative capacity, based at their head office site in central Sheffield
The role will include dealing with incoming and outgoing post, assisting with writing and distributing staff memos, typing and collating of reports, data entry using Word and Excel, monitoring a central email inbox and responding to email and answering telephone calls coming into the department, dealing with enquiries where necessary.
You will also be required to attend departmental meetings, taking notes where required and assisting with the set up of meeting rooms and distribution of IT equipment as desired. In addition to these duties you may also be required to undertake other adhoc administrative tasks as outlined by the department manager so you must have flexible approach and attitude to your work
Located in central Sheffield, the site is easily accessible by public transport

Essential skills:
Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
Confident communicator and able to liaise with staff and personnel on all levels
Proven administrative ability in a comparable working office environment
Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work both from your own initiative and as part of a team
