Our client is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to lead process improvement and optimisation of plant processes. Based in Sheffield, with a £45 million turnover they are a leading manufacturer of alloys and ferrous metals for steelworks and foundries. The role entails continuous improvement and you will oversee all aspects of production and engineering on both an operational and strategic level. You will need an understanding and experience of implementing lean manufacturing methodologies, procurement channels and the ability to drive down costs.
The successful candidate will have a background in heavy engineering with knowledge of metals manufacturing including alloys and aluminium. You will be a motivational leader and team player who is commercially aware.
