Applications are welcomed for the role of Site Co-ordinator overseeing all aspects of the operations function including the further development of team work throughout the business. The role is part of a team of five reporting to the Operations Director.
In the role of Site Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:-
The safety, health and welfare of employees within the Operational areas
Providing supervision, control and guidance to Operational Teams on a shift basis
Meeting production objectives and operational targets inclusive of effective cost control and environmental performance
Progressing continuous improvement initiatives and effectively applying the use of performance measurement techniques such as 5 S, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc
Motivating the operational teams to ensure the full potential of individuals is realised
Ensuring full team member involvement in the decision making process of the business
The standardisation of procedures between operational teams
Providing effective communication to the Management Team on operational issues
You will have:-
Excellent communication, team working and leadership skills
Experience in a senior supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
Developed and supported teams in a learning environment
A commitment to continuous improvement
A successful track record of introducing and managing change in an industrial environment
A thorough knowledge of health, safety, environmental and Lean manufacturing standards

Hours of work are primarily 12 hour, day/nights. Average working week is 38 hours over 4 days.
