You will be responsible for managing the finance processing and accounting service for the organisation. You have 7 direct reports and 35 indirect reports and will have overall responsibility for the day to day supervision of this team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the attainment of service delivery targets for the financial processing function of the organisation
- Ensure that overdue customers debts are chased and that appropriate steps have been taken to recover debts
- Review monthly bank reconciliations ensuring that these are performed within the agreed timescales
- Responsible for the performance and motivation for the finance processing team
- Develop a good working relationship with other managers within the organisation
You will have previous experience of working within a busy financeenvironment and have strong communication and staff management skills coupled with the confidence to lead a diverse finance team. A strong understanding of bookkeeping and debtors and creditors accountsis also vital to be able to advise and guide your staff, internal budget holders and external customers.
