My client requires a temporary Financial Accountant to cover for a member of the team who is away on maternity. The role is anticipated to last approximately nine months and the main duties of the role will include:
Production of monthly cost statements,
Reporting on spend vs forecast
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Meeting line managers to review spend over budget
Compilation of monthly forecast and budget for labour, overhead expenditure and capital
Reconciliation and posting of intercompany transactions
Posting of monthly payroll journal
Posting of monthly accruals and prepayments
Presentation of results when required
Capital tracking
This is a temporary assignment within a large and busy finance department which may open the doors to a permanent position within the organisation.
