Job Description

New areas:

Manor, Aberthorne Darnall, Woodthorpe,Hackenthorpe Gleedless, Basegreen, Birley, Charnock Norfolk Park, Wybourn, Park Hill

Rates of Pay: £6.38 weekdays and £7.62 weekends

Role Summary:

To maintain the highest standard of care for each individual service user. To maintain that the rights of all individuals are promoted and supported so that equality and quality of life is available to each individual service user.

Main Duties:

To communicate with customers and Care Management, both orally and in writing. To record basic reports for each client at each visit To offer personal care sensitively to incontinent, confused and disabled customers, to include bathing, toileting and other personal care tasks. To provide emotional care for clients, being sensitive to their individual needs To use own initiative when required and report to the office any concerns To respect the privacy and confidentiality of each client To prepare light meals and snacks as requested on a client’s care plan To complete timesheets for each client in accordance with the Supporta Care timesheet procedure. To attend any training courses required and to request any further training as necessary To attend an appraisal every 12 months and a supervision every quarter To carry out moving and handling manoeuvres, using equipment where necessary in accordance with the Supporta Care Moving and Handling policy To understand and comply with Supporta Care’s Equal Opportunities policy at all times.
