Our client based in Derbyshire has an opportunity for a Senior Section Manager. The role is in the European Linings Research and Development Sector.

This is involving the fundamental science behind the monolithic refractory systems. Particular emphasis will be on surface chemistry of oxides, carbon and carbides and how they interact with organic binder systems.

Working as part of the Management team the fundamental role of the jobholder is to improve the company knowledge base. You will provide advice, support and a back-up to the product development groups within the Company.

Willingness to travel is essential and a good team working ethic.

The level of the role is such that either a post graduate qualification or relevant post graduate experience is desirable.

Experience in linings is not essential.
