Job Description
Elevation Accountancy specialise in the recruitment of talented Accountancy and Finance professionals across all levels from Ledger Clerks through to Financial Directors.
I am currently recruiting for a large multinational organisation based in South Yorkshire who is looking to recruit a senior credit controller on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and expanding company. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be an integral part of the team and be key in supporting the Manager at this time exciting time.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Assisting in the supervision of the credit control team
Setting collection targets for the team
Liaising with the sales ledger team
High volume chasing of debt by phone, fax and letter
Setting of credit limits
Cash allocation
Deputising for the Credit Manager
The ideal candidate will have a high level of practical experience within a fast paced credit control function. Supervisory experience is not essential, but the confidence to manage an experienced team is. You will need to have excellent communication and influencing skills and be able to quickly build effective relationships.
You need to be passionate and have a proactive and determined approach. Strong Excel skills would be advantageous, with the ability to evaluate and analyse data to drive improvement processes.
This is a excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced Credit Manager and will greatly assist anyone who is an ICM studier.
