Job Description
Role : Electronics Engineer
Location : Sheffield
Salary : £25-30,000 (flex)
Skills, attributes and experience required
· Have a good electronics degree (or equivalent qualification) along with proven experience in an industrial environment, either with product design and development or R&D. Candidates without a degree level qualification will not be considered.
· Experienced in both analogue and digital electronic design.
· Ability in microprocessor based electronic design
· Competent in C,C++, Embedded C and familiarity with pcb layout packages.
· Design and development of analogue, digital and microprocessor based technologies for use in Mechanical and industrial based applications
· Liaise with engineering to design PCB\'s to correct dimensions and specifications
· Design Failure Mode Analysis of electronics to board / component level
· Knowledge and experience of scada systems would be beneficial
· Knowledge and experience of EMC
· Experience in obtaining CE accreditation for pcb boards would be very useful
· Ability to liaise with external suppliers for pcb builds, CE accreditation, EMC testing
