Job Description
Specialist engineering firm based in Sheffield require an Account Manager to develop new and existing business opportunities.
Based in the office 60% of the time, you will be responsible for:
answering and responding to sales enquiries and prepare/submit subsequent tenders and quotations
chasing up quotations
liaising with overseas agents and distributors
preparing sales documentation
preparing, maintaining and updating price lists
liaising with the accounts department relating to bad debt
conducting competitor research
liaising with supply chain to ensure that deliveries are met
The role will also be conducted partially out of the office:
We seek a bright, enthusiastic candidate with a proven career history within engineering sales. You must have commercial and estimating experience. You must also have a full UK driving licence.
