As the first point of contact for our customers, the successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the Service Department. The Customer Advisor plays vital role in helping the team to maintain high standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times. The role is also key in helping the Service department to maximise its profitability through the use of professional sales techniques and enhancing customer awareness of available workshop services.
The main responsibilities of the role include the following:
* To engage with all customers and visitors promptly, professionally and courteously at all times.
* Ensure presence at service reception desk to enable all customer queries to be answered swiftly in person or by telephone.
* Initiate job documentation and maintain customer records and follow up systems.
* Provide customer estimates according to company policy on schedules, time and pricing.
* Document all warranty work as per manufacturer requirements and dealership policy.
* Ensure all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for.
* Maintain effective liaison with workshop staff.
With a professional, enthusiastic and positive approach, you will be educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent.
With the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with customers and colleagues, you will have excellent attention to detail and good planning &; organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and you will have the ability to influence others and be committed to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
