Job Description

My client is a large outsourcing call centre based in Rotherham. They are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join their team. They work on behalf of many blue chip clients and have an excellent reputation in the industry.

The role includes shifts based within the call centre hours of 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday.

To work with the Senior Operations Manager / Business Manager to deliver and implement client and company requirements and drive the designated campaign(s) at all levels. To assist in the management of the contact centre within agreed operational and financial budgets, focusing on maximising revenue from well-managed client relationships and increasing the efficiency of the operation.

To actively support, lead and develop team leaders within an environment of continuous improvement through the use of feedback, coaching, training and other development activities. Lead the team to deliver excellent customer and client satisfaction, and ensure financial success of the contact centre.

Requirements

  • €¢ You will be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills gained in a customer-focused environment

  • €¢ Excellent communications and influencing skills

  • €¢ Understanding of resource planning

  • €¢ Understanding of business planning and objective setting skills

  • €¢ Must be able to inspire and motivate team leaders and advisors to deliver against daily / weekly / monthly targets

  • €¢ Knowledge of the basic principles of financial management / commercial awareness

  • €¢ Knowledge of quality management principles within a contact centre
