Oracle DBA Job Description:
This is a superb opportunity for an Oracle Certified Professional to join a successful software company based in Leeds as an Oracle DBA. The successful candidate will install, support and maintain a variety of Oracle based systems, working with Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Data Guard and RAC.
Oracle DBA Key Roles and Responsibilities:
•Oracle Database Installation, upgrades, migration and database health checks.
•Oracle Database Performance tuning
•Backup management
•Proactive Monitoring and Maintenance
•Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) setup
•High availability and Disaster recovery solutions (RAC and DataGuard)
•Service Request escalation with Oracle
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to develop their Oracle skills and work towards becoming a senior Oracle DBA/Consultant as well as learning new Oracle technologies.
