Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join this leading national organisation.
Within this role you will be expected to deliver a series of diverse and complex projects. Adhering to and improving on project management standards in place including Prince 2 methodologies. As Project Manager you will be expected to effectively manage all aspects of the projects including financial management, stakeholder management, communications and change management. You will direct and motivate a project management team, giving clear instruction and setting objectives to ensure that goals are achieved. You will manage risks and issues against the project, ensuring that adequate planning and contingencies have been put in place to respond effectively with any issues that occur.
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level and have an accredited professional qualification in project management – i.e. Prince 2. You will have relevant project management skills in a comparable role, as well as excellent knowledge of project management tools, techniques and methods.
