Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding employment law solicitor to join our team. We need a rounded and competent self-starter, able to manage their own case load under the supervision of the employment partner.
Essential requirements:
Good technical knowledge of employment law
Experience at handling employment tribunal litigation
Excellent client care skills
Personally confident, positive outlook and approach
Good negotiator
Understanding of corporate structures / directors / shareholdings etc
Excellent drafting skills: contracts of employment; director’s service agreements; restrictive covenants; compromise agreements
Attention to detail
IT literate, able to handle own administration
Desirable requirements:
Corporate support experience
Advocacy experience in the employment tribunal
Marketing / practice development
