Job Description

AS&T Ltd are currently recruiting for all class of drivers with an additional ADR packaging licence (transport of hazardous chemical) within the Barnsley area.

Purpose of job: To drive the clients vehicle in a safe and skillful manner at all times. Drivers must carry out all scheduled deliveries in accordance with written instructions on a daily basis.

Principal duties:  Responsible for vehicles 5T - 17t Dependant on booking. Multi drop deliveries of 5 - 20 drops per shift. Deliver gas bottle to customers. Operate tail lifts on vehicles Role requires driver to climb onto vehicle with moving bottles Updating Tacho-graph and ensuring tach-graph regulations are upheld at all times. Keep the cab clean & tidy. Ensure all paper work is completed correctly & handed to management at the end of each shift.

Contract length:  Temporary for 4 months minimum Possible permanent vacancy dependant on ability which on contract.
