Job Description
My client a very successful, national FMCG organisation is looking to strengthen their commercial finance team with a qualified Commercial Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading organisation in a senior role. This position sits within the commercial finance function and works closely with the buying department so a good understanding of the dynamics of a buying department is essential. You will be either CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with practical experience within a large FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Your duties will include:
Developing robust financial controls and processes
Providing reports information on Sales and Margin Drivers
Business planning and forecasting
Liaising with the buying department at all levels
Production of weekly and monthly management information
Co-ordination in the production of the board pack
Preparation of Capital Expenditure request
Investment appraisals
Review and analysis of rebate postings and tracking of aged debt
Analysis and review of current performances, identifying risks and opportunities
You will ideally posses at least 2/3 years post qualification experience and a solid technical ability. You must be able to demonstrate proven track record in the delivery of financial information to board level or a Senior Management team.
