Web Designer – Leading Technology Company

Our Sheffield based client is a growing technology company with a strong focus on various vertical markets. Due to growth, they now have an immediate opening for a Web (Digital) Designer.
As a Web Designer, you will join an enthusiastic and growing team and be responsible for creating concepts and design work for a range of sales pages or UI/UX layouts. You will make sure that all creative output follows brand guidelines and maintains company image, you will build web pages using CSS/XHTML to W3C/WAI standards, optimise user journey, provide feedback and offer solutions to project briefs and design & produce graphics, HTML templates and other assets that are required to meet the brief, whether the client is internal or external. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ year’s professional web design experience. You will demonstrate a strong creative flair with an eye for detail and good sense of layout, have knowledge of Adobe CS5 suite (Photoshop/Fireworks etc’), knowledge of hand coding CSS/XHTML and the ability to debug code and Knowledge of and adherence to web standards and cross browser compatibility. You will also have strong knowledge of optimising web pages for speed and performance and experience of working within staging environments and version control systems/CMS.
The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 25-30k dependent upon previous experience. Further benefits will also be provided.
