Senior Developer (Web) – large Company

Our Sheffield based client has an immediate opening for a Senior Developer with the latest web development skills. Contact benchmark Recruit for full information on this exciting company.
As a Senior Developer, you will join an enthusiastic and large development team and work on a wide variety of projects, be involved in the process from start to finish, from the project planning stages to launch, where you will influence the direction of web development. You can expect to have a number of direct reports to mentor and guide and you will also get involved in major projects covering ebusiness solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3+ years’ commercial development/ programming experience with strong development skills including OOP, CSS, JavaScript / AJAX, HTML, XML, PHP 5 and DB skills. It would also be advantageous to have a working knowledge of CVS/GIT, Smarty, Linux and SDLC. You will be degree level educated, have the confidence to learn new technologies, the ability to work on high profile projects.
The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 30-33k dependent upon previous experience. Further benefits will also be provided.
