Account Manager – Web / Digital Solution Sales

Our client is a leading provider of next generation Web Application development solutions. This award winning company design, build and consult on both public and private sector projects. With a full portfolio of solutions covering everything from systems architecture and integration through to software development, security and hosting, they are well positioned to capitalise on further growth. They now have an immediate need in Sheffield for an Account Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of customers.
As an Account Manager you will have responsibility for winning and developing a portfolio of accounts. More specifically you will be responsible for prospecting for new business, following up on leads generated from sales campaigns, generate your own new sales leads; lead bids, deliver client facing business development activities and secure new accounts through pitching, negotiating and closing accounts with varying web/digital budgets. The ideal candidate will possess 2 years sales experience with sound knowledge of the web/digital market place, preferably gained working within an agency environment. You will be a natural sales professional, have a proven track record of selling digital solutions with have good technical web knowledge. You will be a problem solver with and analytical skills, good business judgement and the ability to communicate effectively at every level.
The successful candidate can expect a negotiable salary circa 30-36k. Additionally, there is a full and generous benefits package.
