IT Support Engineer – Growing Company
Sheffield
18-25k base + Exceptional Benefits
Our client is a leading technology company based in Sheffield. Through growth in their product portfolio and their ongoing commitment to user satisfaction, they now have an immediate opening for an additional IT Support Engineer.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will join a growing technical support team and take on a varied role that will incorporate support via helpdesk, remote software and onsite visits. You will also be heavily involved in onsite installations and providing training to client end users. Due to the client facing nature of this role, you will require a clean and valid driving licence. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years success in an IT Support role. You will have experience in providing end user training, strong communication, time-management and organisational skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. You will have experience of supporting Windows Operating Systems 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008 and Windows 7 would be advantageous. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Citrix, Terminal Services, I phone or Blackberry would also be an asset.
The successful candidate can expect a salary circa 18-25k with an additional benefits package, which will include an expensed company vehicle.
