Job Description
Our client is looking for a temporary level 1 Kitchen Assistant. The ideal candidate must have;
- A keen interest in food
- A good standard of numerical ability
- A practical and logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions
- Be able to work on own initiative or just as well as part of a team
- To understand different needs of clients
- Communication skills
- A high standard of service
Responsibilities to Include:
- The basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks
- Simple cooking including the reconstitution of prepared food.
- The transferring and serving of meals
- You’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage but not essential
