Our client is currently seeking to recruit for the above position supporting the HSE Manager
It is a staff position and the hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm.
We are looking for a determined, quality orientated individual who has a hand on approach and the ability to uphold and maintain standards. Ideally the applicant should have previous experience working within a HSE role and have or be working towards qualification in these disciplines. You will need to be pro-active and looking to develop your career further within this area.
Duties will include:
pro-active management of administrative functions
Ensuring that all appropriate health safety & environmental records are kept & maintained
minuting of meetings
Collating of HSE performance monitoring data & compiling appropriate reports
Carrying out internal audits as required
Assist in the investigation of injuries, dangerous occurrences and environmental incidents where appropriate as required by the SHE Manager
You will possess excellent spreadsheet, database and word-processing skills and the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers. The ability to work within a team environment is essential to ensure consistency and best practice. You will need to be able to prioritize a varied workload under pressure and to be flexible in your approach to work.
Study support towards a professional qualification will be offered as desired as part of this role.
