| We are the largest provider complete IT solutions in terms of hardware, security provisions, software, services and licensing in the UK. We are currently recruiting a sales manager who will lead a team of proactive, outbound sales representatives to managed accounts in defined territories. This position will require dynamic day-to-day leadership and development of a team of 10 to 15 account executives Key Tasks & Responsibilities: * Coach and mentor sales executives in the all aspects of the sales process in order to increase the earning performance of the team and grow the portfolio of new customer to meet monthly targets. Ensure opportunities across all product lines are being pursued. * Assist SMB account executives in the creation, implementation and successful execution of tactical plan for each new account through quarterly reviews. * Manage vendor lead programmes across the team and ensure vendor requirements are met. * Conduct 121 meetings and team meetings to set additional tasks outside of core calling times, including account development objectives concerning contact, mail shots, presentations and new product inductions. This may also be used to monitor task set against appraisal. * Review daily report of outbound call times, numbers of calls, total number of contact management system records logged along with the number of future scheduled calls. * Increase commercial awareness resulting in enhanced professionalism when dealing with customers. * Conduct return to work interviews for absentee reps. Instances like these must also be recorded on holiday forms. * Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures, in addition to presenting information and respond to questions from employees, managers and customers. * Organise and maintain weekly meetings for the team to keep up to date with any issues or focus days. * Work to a daily schedule, including desk side call (monitoring at the reps desk) remote monitoring and to focus reps on closing quotes. * Ability to forecast sales accurately and achieve sales budgets. * Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation?s policies and applicable laws ? including interviewing, hiring, training employees discipline employees up to and including termination, addressing grievances and resolving problems. * Responsible for all annual appraisals, sign off authority for pricing and margin decisions. * Lead customer tours visits and meetings in the Insight sales facility Qualifications/Skills Required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good business acumen, showing evidence of ability to make sound business decisions * Good Time Management Skills * Proactive, with the ability to inspire others. * Knowledge of reseller market and competitors helpful. In turn, your motivation, tenacity and experience will be rewarded with a basic salary £25K - £35K and a realistic uncapped commission structure plus other benefits. |
