A Sheffield based manufacturer of metalwork & joinery require a Supervising CAD Engineer to join their team.
You will be supervising a small team of Engineers, managing quality and work throughput to deadlines. You will be liaising with the operations manager and contract team personnel on design and development issues and advising on risks as well as delegating work to engineers, managing priorities and continually reviewing the progress of all projects.
The successful candidate will be experienced in AUTOCAD usage, RADAN programming and come from a light or medium metal fabrication background. You will be qualified in an Engineering or CAD draughting discipline to HNC standard or above and have previous experience of managing personnel. You will ideally have 3D modeling experience with Solid Edge. You should have excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality and be capable of managing people, resources and priorities.
The salary bracket for this position is between £18,000 and £22,000pa dependant on skills and experience. Other benefits include pension, profit related bonus and life cover.
