My Client is a prestigious employer who operate across Europe and have been expanding over the last few years. They now require a Group Accountant to work as number 2 to the Finance Director.
Responsibilities will include leading and motivating the finance team, producing monthly management and statutory accounts for 3 holding companies, compiling budgets, VAT returns for UK and foreign subsidiary group companies and dealing with accruals, prepayments and journals.
The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience, have supervised and developed a team, excellent IT skills especially in Microsoft Excel are a must. Costing and multi currency exposure would be a bonus but are not essential.
