A new exciting opportunity has become available for a New Product Development Technologist. The duties involve the development of natural colours formulations to meet customer specific demand and provide creative and efficient technical customer support.
This includes
1. Be responsible for the selection and testing of suitable additives/ingredients for colour formulations to improve performance in applications.
2. Implement factory trials to manufacture colour formulation.
3. Improve the general understanding of ingredient interactions into finished food products
4. Support trouble shooting for external issues for our client's products.
5. Become technical support to sales team.
6. Be responsible for customer's trials throughout the UK and abroad to strengthen our client's technical services.
Requirements
- Good scientific knowledge of food chemistry
- Excellent presentation skills to deliver first class customer service
- Should posses an up to date knowledge of trends in the food industry
- Customer focused with a commercial view on the market.
Qualification and experience
Degree in Food Science/Technology or related scientific discipline, backed by proven experience in a manufacturing environment
