For the first time we will co-ordinate and integrate high-level skills strategies with innovative talent attraction and retention plans across the city/city region.
The first challenge is to translate our regional skills strategy into practical programmes that deliver hard economic benefits to the city region and regional economy. With demanding targets to meet, we will achieve our shared goals through collaborative working with private sector businesses, academia and the public sector.
If you want to be our first Talent Attraction & Retention Manager you must have worked at a senior level in recruitment, development or HR planning within a large private sector business or public sector/Higher Education organisation. You will already be familiar with best practice / leading edge talent management/retention approaches and have experience of executive and further education management programmes. European or international experience is also desirable.
