PART PROCESS ENGINEER

North Nottinghamshire

£30,000k p.a. + Excellent Benefits

COMPANY INFORMATION:

Our client is a limited manufacturing company based in the north Nottingham area. They require a Part Process Engineer to join their established team. The site has an annual turnover of approximately £6 million per annum and have been established a number of years.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

The ability to balance competing priorities, discerning the urgent from the important and
take appropriate decisive action.
The ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines and make it happen.
Ability to pre-empt difficult situations and be creative in solving problems when they arise.
Ability to work to company procedures.

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Previous experience within an Engineering role
Good I.T Skills
Excellent management and organisation skills
. Educated at HND or Degree Level within an engineering discipline.

ROLE INFORMATION:

To develop from customer drawings and specifications consistent and efficient techniques within agreed estimates and time scale. To be the companys technical consultant and provide high level technical support and advice on engineering issues and provide solutions to engineering problems, effectively liaising with customers and staff to fulfil Design Procedure.

To effectively control/monitor Toolmakers and other sub-contractors involved in component development to
ensure full adherence to customer specifications and cost effective manufacturing.

To carry out process/engineering trials to develop production techniques with ad hoc investigations/ trouble
shooting on production and engineering jobs to overcome problems and develop better processes to ensure
production efficiency.

To monitor status of new samples and liaise with customer to ensure engineering and quality standards are met
and the customer is happy.
To liaise with external organisations to increase technical knowledge. Advise customers/internal organisation of
technical matters and technological innovation.
