We are currently recruiting for a leading global banking corporation for a Face to Face Customer Service Officer based in Hathersage. For the role the key responsibilities will include:
- Providing face-to-face transactional banking service within the branch including providing first class service and generating sales and referrals including pursuing potential sales leads.
- Being the first point of contact for customers in the branch in order to deal with and action either a range of general banking/account enquiries/concerns and/or specific service/product enquiries
- Following security protocol to identify customers
- Identifying where the Bank can help the customer and directing them on to the appropriate service area if needed
- Contacting customers to discuss opportunities to help them and arrange appointments
- Updating customer file and/or diary system after each action
- Actioning postal/fax/e-mail correspondence where necessary
- Preparing batches of work for processing off-site
The successful candidate will have previous banking knowledge and be comfortable working flexible Saturdays. A credit check and employment verification will also be undertaken.
