Our client, an international engineering organisation based in South Yorkshire, is now looking to add a Quality Manager with H&S experience to the team!
The Group Quality / H&S Manager will:
1. Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the ISO9001:2000 quality system.
2. Maintain all quality manuals and associated documentation.
3. Establish and attain quality performance goals and improvement objectives for the companies.
4. Be responsible for the generation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs to facilitate Continual Improvement.
5. Drive quality initiatives, product related problem resolution and supplier quality issues.
6. Be responsible for the day to day management of all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and associated documentation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Our client is seeking a senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager from a manufacturing / production environment.
It is essential to be able to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and must be a qualified ISO9001:2000 auditor!!
Experience of working within a customer facing role would be a benefit as you will need to communicate with important customers as well as senior work colleagues so we are looking for excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ideally you will be a "change orientated" individual who will challenge the way it has always been done.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
Knowledge of PPAP/IMDS would be of benefit.
Whilst a relevant qualification would be advantageous, all ages and experiences will be considered.
