An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading Business Processing Outsourcing organisation within the financial services arena as a Customer Service Consultant on a fixed term contract for 3 months.
Role Purpose
To maximise customer loyalty for the Investors by providing excellent customer service; quickly building rapport and ensuring that all customers are effectively informed of the key features of the options available to them to support their decision making; demonstrating brand behaviour and exceeding customer expectations wherever possible.
You're Role
"Provide customers with accurate, relevant, and clear information relating to their policies and other relevant products and services offered by the client; dealing with queries and requests appropriately.
"Use appropriate questioning and listening skills to identify the circumstances, needs and aims of the customer, and respond to these appropriately.
"Ensure that all information provided is within regulatory and procedural boundaries.
"Deliver consistent high levels of customer service via various media (e.g. telephone, written); acting proactively and professionally to meet customer's expectations, and exceed them where possible.
"Identify and resolve customer problems and complaints, liaising with relevant parties to ensure that issues and situations are rectified within the shortest possible time frame, and that an excellent customer relationship is maintained.
The successful candidate will hold the following Skills
"Polite and professional telephone manner.
"Excellent verbal and written communication skills
"Numeracy and computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), capable of maintaining an effective conversation whilst using a keyboard
"Have meticulous attention to detail
"Be highly organised and able to manage own workload to meet stretching targets and strict deadlines
"Able to work as part of a team
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience within a financial services arena, excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team. Ideally you will be FPC/CFP qualified.
In return you will be rewarded with a salary of £20k, a death in service benefit of 2 times salary and eligibility to join the company pension scheme
