My client a well established Specialist Engineering and Fabrication company over a variety of industries require an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the team. The company are part of an international group and work to ISO 9001 standards
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in Health and Safety management preferably within a heavy industrial engineering environment.
-You must have a good all round knowledge of European and UK legislative systems and hold the relevant IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications.
-A background from any of the following Project Engineering, Manufacturing or construction site environment or a combination of the industries
DESIRABLE
-HNC level or higher in an Engineering discipline.
ROLE INFORMATION IN DETAIL:
-The successful candidates will be managing the companies environmental systems to achieve and gain Environmental Accreditation
- Will be carrying out risk assessments
Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to.
-Responsible for in house training with managers and employees about any Health and Safety risks
-Should have a working knowledge of CDM regulations
