To lead/manage the multi-discipline project design and delivery team and ensure design co-ordination between disciplines is achieved in accordance with my clients Quality Management System.
The successful candidate will also assist the PM in day to day administrative tasks, including line management of staff and compiling internal and external reports to senior managers and Clients respectively. The successful candidate shall attend meetings with Clients and major subcontractors and communicate requirements appropriately at all levels.
The successful candidate shall ensure that scope and designs are compliant with the clients specification and monitor change against it.
The candidate
Shall have a broad experience in mechanical Engineering, but specialist knowledge in either/all Anaerobic Digestion, Materials handling especially solid municipal waste, Incineration ( sludge or Municipal Solid Waste) or similar would be welcomed. The candidate shall be aware of Health and safety issues especially with regard to Design and the implications of the CDM Regulations as recently revised. The candidate shall have a working knowledge of different contract and subcontract forms and be able to prepare subcontract documents for order placement. Due to the role, the candidate shall also have an understanding of Process, electrical and civil engineering or at least know how they interact with one another. The Candidate shall be self-motivated, be able to work autonomously.
